first day of school 2019-2020. grade 8 for jayden, grade 5 for cadence and grade 2 for sophie. the girls woke up super early this morning to get ready. they were super excited and stayed up late to pack up school supplies and get stuff ready. jayden.... not so much.
the last pic was after sophie found out who her teacher was as we lined up to go into the school. she burst into tears. poor thing. she was really hoping for ms. saunders again. luckily she came by to try to cheer her up.

on saturday we ran the lululemon #unityrelay. a team of 3 running 7k each for a total half marathon.
jeremy ran on a team he put together (we Wan fast) and won!! well technically they tied but they were on the list first.
jayden, cadence and i were suppose to run on team List but cadence has an injury so we luckily we got someone to sub in for her. we came in 25th overall. :) a great day to kick off our 16th anniversary!

what daddies do for pics ❤️ after field trip day at shopify the kids wanted to see where i worked. i brought them to the new building. let’s just say they enjoyed the snacks and the view. funny that they dressed to match the nook couches on the 7th floor. ❤️💙💛

i walk by this place everyday on our way to work on king st and see people taking pics here all the time. cadence wanted to stop and take a photo. then the other two and even i had fun taking pics at the @caliiloveco wall part 1
field trip day @shopify brought the whole fam. enjoyed some food, face painting, life size hungry hippo, jumbo jenga, popsicles and warm weather.

she came back from the kennel with a swollen hind paw. we think she got a cut and has been licking it so now it’s infected and not healing.

and in other news... sophie ran a 2k yesterday. her first race without a parent and got her first ever race medal!! i feel like it won’t be her last either.
she did well waiting for us where we asked her to after the race.
she hasn’t taken her medal off since she got it. she’s so proud! :)

@jeremy_list i know you are disappointed in your time but you did amazing. 4:35min/km pace is effing amazing!! there are days where you are up at 5:30 am training. you amaze me with your dedication... i’m so proud of you!!! ...and even if you think you didn’t do well, jayden, cadence and sophie think the world of you. “you’re the fastest daddy ever” ❤️ chin up! there’s only up from here! xox
missed taking a video of him as i was preoccupied by cheering him and making sure the kids were ready to give him some fuel.
