Years of professional experience, I am skilled in designing software and products that significantly impact the user-experience needs of consumers. I value user motivational design making, informed design rationale, and robust user proven interaction models. My background includes multiple design and development disciplines and a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts allowing me to understand what is technically efficient and yet intuitively useful human computer interaction. Solutions I provide strike a balance between great design, development polish and usefulness. Marking the difference between wanting a product and needing it. I believe that user-experience design is more than an artifact or deliverable of "customer thinking". It is an inclusive process that promotes risk-taking and accountability. Understanding people, culture, and the human experience is necessary to designing and driving UX value within organizations. Additionally, creating a UX culture within a company is paramount in bridging the gap between technology and people. I create interaction solutions based off what users do and not what the say they do. I'm codirector of the Product Design Association and tend to start the speak in hyperdrive when in any conversation involving user experience, mobile user understanding or movies.
